20 Week Survey

Ok, so this is a little late, and the last one was late.... I'm getting behind! Time needs to sloooow down! We're going to pretend as if it was written on Friday again, hehe...

The 20 Week Survey

How far along?: 19 weeks and 6 days!

Total weight gain: 10 pounds! Yahoooooo!!!!!! Who else is ever excited about gaining that much weight?!

How big is baby?: 6 1/2" head to rump and about 10 inches from head to heel! Baby boy weighs around 10 1/2 ounces! About the size of a yummy banana!

Maternity clothes?: Most definitely! Although I do mostly wear my own jeans with my rubberband, because my dry winter skin and those bellabands do not mix well... so itchy!

Stretch marks?: Hmm... nope!

Sleep: So much better lately! I've been going to bed around 11 at the latest and sleeping solid until 7.

Best moment this week: Leaving for our baby-moon with baby boy along for the ride! ;-)

Movement: Still feeling little graze by's, but no kicks yet!

Food cravings: Not so much this week. I just eat... a lot.

Gender: As far as we know he's still a cute little baby boy! hehe

Labor Signs: Negative!

Belly Button in or out?
: Whew... you can barely get a finger in there anymore! ;-) Lovely picture, isn't it?

What I miss:
Nada!!!!! =)

What I am looking forward to: Our anatomy appointment is right around the corner!!!

Weekly Wisdom:
Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things! ;-) If the house is a wreck, who cares! Life is still good!

Milestones: HELLO HALFWAY MARK!!!!! It's all on the downhill count from here! For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.) He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery). ~Stolen from babycenter.com!

After our wonderful anniversary meal - this was technically the end of week 20!

  1. Cute dress! ; )

The 20 week mark is fun because it's when you finally feel that uterus matched up with your belly button!! It's an exciting measurement.
